Rate: £30 - £35 per hour
Type: Part-time Temporary

Eden Brown are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated GCSE English Teacher on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Lancashire.

This is an ongoing temporary role for at least 22 hours per week to start in September.

As a key member of the English department, you will have the opportunity to teach GCSE English Language, English Literature, and/or English Language & Literature.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students academic progress, and fostering a love for English in all its forms.
You will work closely with colleagues to provide a high-quality learning experience and contribute to the continued success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging GCSE English lessons to students, with a focus on student-centered learning
* Planning and preparing lessons, assessments, and resources
* Monitoring and supporting students progress through feedback and individual guidance
* Supporting students in exam preparation and study skills

Key Requirements:
* A relevant degree in English, English Literature, or a related field
* A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
* Experience teaching GCSE English or relevant qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best

A current enhanced is also needed for this role, if you do not have a current DBS Eden Brown can apply for one on your behalf.
