Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Family Help Locality Team at Warrington Borough Council on a locum basis.

Job Title: Social Worker - Family Help Locality Team

Location: Warrington, Cheshire
Contract Type: Locum | Full-Time
Working Pattern: Hybrid - minimum 2 days office-based per week

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated social worker to join a supportive Family Help Locality Team in Warrington. You will be responsible for case-holding children and families subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans within your designated area.

This position is to cover maternity leave and offers the opportunity to be part of an authority that is on an exciting journey as part of the Pathfinder Programme, strengthening family support and early intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of Child in Need and Child Protection cases
• Work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes
• Contribute to the continued improvement journey within the Pathfinder framework
• Maintain accurate case records and complete statutory documentation
• Engage in reflective supervision and participate in team development

Essential Requirements:

• Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
• Social Work England Registration
• Minimum 3 years' experience in frontline statutory children's social work
• Strong assessment and direct work skills
• Ability to work independently and manage own diary
