Children's Social Worker (0 - Infant Team) - Blackpool
Ref: 3433362030_1753876564Blackpool Council is currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Families Safeguarding 0 - Infant Team.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in safeguarding and supporting infants and families. You must have strong experience in pre-birth assessments, child protection, complex Child in Need cases, and PLO/pre-proceedings.
You will lead by example-producing high-quality court statements and assessments, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and supporting the team manager in day-to-day practice leadership. A commitment to improving outcomes for children and families is essential, along with a passion for professional development, coaching, and reflective practice.

Role Details:
- Location: Blackpool
- Contract: Initial 3 months (with likely extension)
- Working Style: Hybrid working available
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience in children's services
- Experience in court work, PLO, and pre-birth assessments
- Access to own vehicle and full driving licence
