The IT Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects with an annual total budget of up to £2m and is expected to be based out of one of Mities delivery Centres (Shard, Northampton, Birmingham, Manchester although other locations will be considered).

Reporting to the Head of Programmes and Projects, the role requires taking plan inputs from all stakeholders, they will create and maintain robust end to end Project Plans, managing project stakeholders, reporting progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and finances. They will also ensure that their projects adhere to the IS delivery framework and governance standards.

The IT Senior Project Manager will make project interventions as required to address and manage delivery risks,issues and project dependencies, ensuring that the right teams are engaged and accountable. They will communicate and influence key stakeholders while supporting the IS strategy.

The Successful candidate requires an aptitude to embrace AI capabilities to enhance productivity. It requires a unique blend of technical acumen in the Software Development lifecycle including Operations, strategic thinking, and adaptability. The role necessitates extensive leadership experience and stakeholder management skills to ensure accountability within all parties involved in the project. They will collaborate with the business and IS delivery/assurance teams (including 3rd party service providers) to ensure that their projects are aligned with the IS and business strategy and are setup and tracked through to successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain detailed end to end Project plans holding each stakeholder accountable for their element of the plan.
* Ensuring that the project teams adhere with the IS delivery framework and governance standards
* Governing and Tracking the performance of projects. Reporting and managing progress, dependencies /risks /issues and finances.
* Make project interventions as required to address delivery risks and issues. Ensuring the right teams are engaged and accountable
* Manage 3rd party services at a project level. Ensuring that the commercials agree the appropriate controls and measures to allow IS to measure and assure quality, ontime, on budget outcomes.
* Communicating and influencing key stakeholders whilst supporting the IS strategy
* Build and maintain strong relationships with IS 'heads of' and ISBPs Leveraging them as required to support project delivery.

What Were Looking For:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or substantial experience in a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
* Aptitude to embrace AI capabilities to enhance productivity
* A Technology background and good experience in IT project management
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
* Ability to break down problems to ensure the correct resources are engaged
* Strong understanding of facilities management operations and the technology solutions that support them.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project and Project Online
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
