Market Service Owner
Ref: 07d8795b472749bbb534339868aefd6cAs a Market Service Owner based in our Glasgow office, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across global markets. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise effectively, and a collaborative attitude.
Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including market contacts, production sites and third-party freight service providers. Your role will be central to understanding the unique needs of each market and ensuring these are met through effective planning and communication.
You'll manage the full freight process, selecting the most appropriate services at the best value, while also handling pre-shipment requirements, PO creation, freight quoting, billing, and investigation. A proactive approach to resolving export-related issues and a strong understanding of market-specific products and requirements will be essential.
