Key Duties / Responsibilities
Strategic Management

1.To lead on the design, development and delivery of major housing projects that form part of the city's Housing Development Pipeline.
2.To lead on or support development activities and the operational management of Council-owned hosing companies, such as Fortior Homes.
3.To work with key delivery partners and stakeholders in order to deliver those projects.
4.Identify potential site opportunities for Council direct delivery of housing, working with the Estates team.
5.To set and maintain high standards for housing design, development and delivery in the city, within the constraints of feasibility and viability.
6. To work as a fully engaged member of the wider housing team in the formulation, implementation and review of service, directorate and corporate plans.
7.To deliver high quality efficient advice on commercial and financial matters relating to housing delivery in the City to the Service and wider directorates.
8.To aid with and input in to the development of housing strategies and act in an advisor capacity on this work stream within the service, across the directorate and beyond.
9.Deliver within a sound strategic framework for the team and play a major part in the development of such.
10.To deputise for the Head of Housing Development as required.
