Job Advert: Locum Social Worker - Mental Health (Bromley)
Location: Beckenham Beacon, Bromley (BR3)
Team: ADAPT West (Anxiety, Depression, Affective Disorders, Personality and Trauma)
Pay Rate: £32 per hour
Contract: Locum - 3 months (with potential to extend)
Working Pattern: 4 days per week on-site (no remote working)

Bromley Council is seeking a dedicated Locum Social Worker to join the ADAPT West Mental Health Team, based at Beckenham Beacon, a well-equipped health centre with excellent transport links and nearby free parking.

This is an opportunity to support a multidisciplinary team through the summer period and potentially beyond, working with adults experiencing complex mental health needs including anxiety, depression, affective disorders, personality disorders, and trauma.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake Care Act assessments and reviews

Carry out mental health support planning in a multi-agency setting

Engage in safeguarding enquiries (Section 42) where required

Support older adults and adults with enduring mental health conditions

Maintain accurate case recording and contribute to service delivery
