Job Title: Social Worker and Advanced Practitioner

Brent Council is seeking an experienced and confident Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join the Adult Social Care service within the Service Reform and Strategy Directorate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a high-level practitioner role, working in a fast-paced and supportive team environment focused on delivering excellent outcomes for adults with care and support needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead on complex casework across Adult Social Care, ensuring high-quality practice and compliance with the Care Act and other relevant legislation

Provide professional guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff

Support quality assurance activity and contribute to the development of best practice

Work collaboratively with service users, families, and multi-agency partners

Promote strengths-based, person-centred approaches in all assessments and interventions

Take a proactive role in safeguarding investigations and risk management
