Our newly refurbished Andover Practice is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic RVN to join our friendly and welcoming team.

The practice opened in 2013 and, over the past 12 years, has built a strong and loyal client base with excellent reputation in the local area.

Located on the busy Enham Arch Retail Park in the Pets at Home store, we offer a central location with plenty of onsite parking.

We have a strong, forward – thinking caring team, many of whom have worked for us for many years.

The Candidate:
Our ideal new colleague will be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all-round skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player with a positive can-do attitude passionate about customer service.

Our Nurses are encouraged to be used to their full potential in a fast-paced practice with a varied case load. This includes encouraging schedule 3 nursing as well as growing nurse clinics and client relationships. We encourage evidence-based nursing.

There is support for further development - we love to nurture the passions and professional niches of our colleagues through CPD that is of particular interest to them

The role:
First opinion nurse duties to include monitoring anaesthetics, inpatient care, nurse consults, ordering, assisting with procedures. We have visiting ophthalmologist, ultrasonography and soft tissue specialists so there is opportunity to assist with these cases. 

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week including 1 in 4 Saturday shifts. Shifts are allocated on a rota basis and run between 8am and 7.30pm. Part time hours will be considered for a suitable applicant because the right candidate is our priority.
