A dynamic and people-focused top 20 accountancy firm is looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join its growing Cambridge team. This role offers strong prospects for professional growth in a modern and collaborative setting, where you'll work with a broad portfolio of clients alongside experienced mentors and colleagues.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual accounts for a range of clients including sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.
  • Contribute to the preparation of VAT submissions and corporate tax filings.
  • Draft accurate financial and management reports in line with deadlines.
  • Complete tax computations for both businesses and individuals.
  • Assist with audit fieldwork and help ensure audit processes run smoothly.
  • Work closely with senior team members to meet client expectations and deliverables.
  • Take part in internal initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency and client service.
  • Offer guidance and support to junior staff, helping them develop professionally.

Personal Requirements

  • AAT qualified.
  • ACA or ACCA Part-qualified or qualified.
  • Solid experience working in a professional practice setting.
  • Effective communicator with a client-first attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Comfortable using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Capable of working independently and contributing to a team-based environment.
