Pay Rate: £28 - £30 per hour (Locum)
Contract Type: Locum
Working Pattern: Hybrid - Office attendance once a month
Driving: Preferable
Start Date: ASAP

Birmingham City Council is seeking an experienced and adaptable Qualified Social Worker to join their Peripatetic Team on a locum basis.

This team operates citywide, supporting all adult client groups by managing cases, carrying out Care Act assessments, reviews, and reassessments, and contributing to project-based work to help reduce service backlogs. You'll need to be flexible, responsive to change, and able to work at pace to achieve a quick turnover of cases.

? Key Responsibilities:
Case management across a range of adult client groups

Conduct Care Act assessments, reviews, and re-assessments

Support backlog clearance through focused project work

Work citywide with a mix of remote and community-based work

Attend team meetings in the office once per month
