We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join Wokingham Borough Council's Adult Social Care team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about promoting independence and improving outcomes for adults in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and prioritise the OT waiting list

Complete functional assessments to support independent living

Undertake moving and handling assessments

Carry out care reviews to reduce ongoing support needs

Deliver reablement support to maximise service users' potential

Contribute to minor adaptations and provide input on Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs)

Requirements:

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

Previous experience in a local authority or community adult social care team

Strong knowledge of reablement and equipment provision

Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively
