Permit Officer
Ref: 6eceb967809f44b69febac463cbfe352A position has arisen for a temporary Permit Officer placed within a highly reputable organisation situated in Northamptonshire. This role takes responsibility for managing the Permit to Work process to ensure contractors adhere to health & safety standards and deliver optimum levels of service for a contract length of 6 months with the possibility of an extension., * Manage the Permit to Work process to ensure contractors adhere to health & safety standards
* Maintain contractor records to ensure health & safety accreditations, and team qualifications are up to date
* Collect and review all Risk Assessments and Method Statements prior to the contractor's arrival on site
* Complete all pre-visit assessments, welcome and induct contractors on to site, monitor their performance during attendance
* Sign off all activity prior to their departure
* Manage Performance and Behaviour of contractors
* You must have previous experience managing contractors * You must have experience in dealing with critical incidents involving gas, electricity and water
