Structural Engineer
Ref: 8cac44d096234f5bb8643107b699c03c* Perform structural analysis using both hand calculations and Finite Element (FE) methods to support product design and development.
* Lead technical assessments across a range of analysis domains including static, dynamic, fatigue, and crash analysis.
* Deliver technical reports and documentation to a high standard for internal teams and external clients.
* Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams including design, manufacturing, and systems engineers.
* Drive innovation and efficiency by implementing structural optimisation techniques such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and FE model refinement.
* Degree qualified in a STEM discipline with significant post-graduate experience in structural engineering. * Strong background in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Altair or equivalent tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS. * Demonstrable experience in structural domains such as fatigue analysis, multi-body dynamics, or metallic/composite material assessment. * Ability to provide efficient, simplified analysis to support fast-paced design decisions. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and clearly present complex technical findings.
