Job Overview
As a Site and Central Administration Support Lead, you will be expected to make a positive impact and deliver results through effective coordination, attention to detail, and strong stakeholder relationships. The purpose of your role is to support site operations by ensuring seamless administrative processes and central function alignment.
You will play a key role in managing critical site data, reporting, communication channels, and compliance documentation, while supporting cross-functional teams with consistent and reliable administrative service. Your work will help enable the delivery of key business metrics, team performance, and operational efficiency across the site.
This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organisation skills, a solutions-driven mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You'll be someone who takes ownership, embraces change, and works collaboratively to drive continuous improvement.

Main Duties
* Take initiative as a self-starter, confidently managing tasks independently while supporting wider team goals.
* Act as a key point of contact for all hygiene-related activities, including coordination of the UK Sale of Waste process.
* Support the daily operations of a fast-paced manufacturing site through a wide range of tasks such as pest control audits, chemical titration checks, cleaning documentation control, and daily tier meeting input.
* Collaborate with on-site teams, client representatives, and external contractors to ensure smooth execution of operational targets and compliance requirements.
* Partner with Hygiene Compliance Team Managers to review, update, and maintain cleaning work instructions and documentation aligned with pladis standards.
* Own and manage the banked hours KPI, reporting weekly progress in partnership with the third-party cleaning provider.
* Confidently use pladis' internal 'Workplace' app to share regular updates and key information with the team and relevant stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain a central hygiene performance dashboard, leading weekly reviews with Compliance Team Managers to drive transparency and continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of a budget control document, tracking site spend to ensure alignment with financial targets. Actively support the identification of cost-saving opportunities across waste and consumable use.
* Oversee consumables management including stock control, ordering, and delivery verification to maintain availability and accuracy.
* Conduct hygiene audits across the site, producing clear reports, communicating findings at all levels, and ensuring timely follow-up on actions
Bring Your Experience
Essential
Advanced understanding of basic office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) · Knowledge of Quality Systems, Hygiene & Environmental, SAP and Food Manufacturing would be a key advantage.
We would be looking for somebody with good literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to GCSE grade C/4 or above.
They must be able to manage relationships with key stakeholders within pladis and suppliers externally · They must be a confident self-starter capable of integrating themselves into a team who are spread across each of the pladis UK sites, with the majority of contact taking place via phone or Teams calls.
This role will be during our defined office hours (9:00 am to 17:00 pm) with some flexibility required and an element of travel.
Desirable
Experienced inputting/ analysing data with the use of Excel, using pivots & formula. · Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
They will hold a driving license.
They must be able to work on their own to meet deadlines.
