An ambitious and progressive accountancy firm is expanding its outsourcing team. With over a decade of consistent growth and a diverse client list, the firm is now looking to welcome an experienced Management Accountant into a pivotal role supporting its evolving client services.

Role Responsibilities

  • Produce and review detailed management accounts, including financial forecasts.
  • Keep client accounting records up to date with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee VAT submissions and ensure payroll reviews are conducted thoroughly.
  • Provide hands-on support to clients with budgeting and process improvements.
  • Guide, support and develop junior team members through training and review.
  • Maintain high-quality output across the team by reviewing junior staff work.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with a wide variety of clients.

Personal Requirements

  • AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Solid practice background with demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Strong foundation in bookkeeping and VAT return preparation.
  • Confident managing payroll functions across multiple clients.
  • Proficient in using accounting platforms like Xero and Sage.
  • Excellent communicator with a proactive, adaptable approach.
  • Strong analytical and numerical capability.
  • Comfortable operating in a client-facing, fast-paced environment.
