Job Title: Revenues Assistant
Directorate: Strategy and Resources | Section: Revenues

Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Revenues Team. As a Revenues Assistant, youll support the billing and collection of Council Tax, Business Rates, and Sundry Debt - helping manage over £350 million across three income streams.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining and updating customer accounts

Investigating and allocating payments

Handling sensitive financial data with care and accuracy

Supporting customers with queries and payment arrangements

Assisting in fraud detection and prevention

What were looking for:

Experience or understanding of billing, recovery and invoicing systems

Strong IT and communication skills

Knowledge of relevant legislation (Council Tax, Business Rates, GDPR)

A customer-focused approach with the ability to work under pressure
