East Riding of Yorkshire Council is currently seeking a Social Worker to join their EHASH team. This is a frontline duty role that requires confident and experienced professionals to respond swiftly and effectively to safeguarding concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake thorough screening and triage of referrals concerning children and families.

• Liaise closely with police, education, health, and other partner agencies to share information and coordinate responses.

• Make informed decisions about thresholds and next steps based on risk and need.

• Conduct Section 47 enquiries where necessary and contribute to multi-agency safeguarding meetings.

• Provide written and verbal analysis of risk, need, and next steps to management and partners.

• Ensure all recording and decision-making is timely, clear, and in line with statutory frameworks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a MASH/EHASH or frontline duty team.

• Must have experience of achieving best evidence with the police.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.

• Registered with Social Work England and hold a social work qualification.
