QC Microbiology Analyst

I am working with a global leading chemical manufacturing site based in Widnes, who are currently looking for a QC Microbiology to join the team on a 12-month FTC, this a good role to develop your career within Microbiology.

Key responsibilities for the QC Microbiology Analyst

  • Perform routine and non-routine microbiological testing on raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring in various site locations.
  • Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results and assist with root cause analysis and provide input to resolve this.
  • Collaborate with the QC Chemistry team and ensure the manufacturing facility is microbiology compliant prior to manufacturing.

Requirements for the QC Microbiology Analyst

  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology or similar degree.
  • Good understanding of cGMP and 12-months experience working in this environment.
  • Good attention to detail and communication methods as you will at times be working with different internal teams.
