We are looking for an experienced Labourer to join our team at Mitie.

The main tasks and responsibilities of this role will be to carry out work in a safe manner in accordance with site rules. You'll need an appreciation of industry standard safe working practices including permit to work systems, COSHH, risk assessments and accident / incident reporting, and ensure that all work is undertaken within the job holder's own level of demonstrated competence. You will also support with Ad Hoc duties as requested by your management team.

The ideal candidate would have an ECITB Safety Passport, basic literacy and numeracy skills, and experience of working within a customer focussed environment. IPAF and a Fork Lift Truck licence are desirable. You have willingness to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual, and willingness to undertake further training to support you in your role.

Certificates such as CSCS, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height and Manual Handling would be an advantage but not essential as we would provide access to courses as required. You will demonstrate basic construction site knowledge sufficient to work safely and efficiently on-site. You will be experienced and hardworking, with the ability to work to a high standard and on own initiative.
You will need to be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision and have a flexible approach and a desire to take on new responsibilities.
