We're hiring Multi Skilled Operatives with strong carpentry/joinery skills for social housing maintenance work across Portsmouth, Southampton, Chichester, Bournemouth, and nearby areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent multi trade job with a reputable property maintenance contractor, working on responsive repairs and void property maintenance.

Job Overview:

As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll carry out varied repairs and maintenance within social housing properties, including both occupied (tenanted) and void homes. Day-to-day tasks will involve joinery / carpentry repairs, with additional trades such as basic plumbing, tiling, and patch plastering desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Multi trade repairs & maintenance across South Coast social housing properties

  • Joinery / Carpentry repairs (essential)

  • UPVC door/window repairs, kitchen installations, and general property repairs

  • Basic plumbing, tiling, and patch plastering (desirable)

  • Responsive repairs and void works

  • Customer service in tenants' homes

  • Working independently using job tickets / handheld PDA system

  • Ensuring health & safety standards at all times
