A fast-growing, entrepreneurial business in the speciality food & beverage sector is looking for a hands on Finance Manager to join its leadership team during a period of exciting growth. With revenues heading toward £10m, this is a newly created role offering genuine influence and ownership over the company's financial operations.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced finance candidate to join a high growth brand, in a fresh new role, to shape the finance function. The company has a collaborative, down to earth culture where energy, initiative, and passion for the brand are valued highly. You'll be working closely with the founders, supporting strategic decision making, and ensuring strong financial controls are in place as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual budgets and 13-week cash flow forecasts
  • Lead financial modelling and scenario planning
  • Partner with business leaders to advise on spend, margin, and performance
  • Produce monthly management accounts with commentary
  • Track key performance metrics (e.g., margin, COGS, stock)
  • Provide actionable insights to support business decisions
  • Oversee all financial processes and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, HMRC and year-end audit requirements
  • Run credit control and invoice reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate stock and cost reporting
  • Liaise with supply chain team on purchasing and stock forecasts

About You:

  • Qualified (preferred) or part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with minimum 3 years' relevant experience
  • Proficient in Xero (preferred) or similar accountancy software, Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail, commercially minded, and highly organised
  • A confident communicator who thrives in a fast paced, scale up environment
  • Experience in F&B or consumer goods is advantageous
