A respected and well-established accountancy firm in King's Lynn is looking to appoint an Assistant Manager to join its thriving General Practice team. This is an opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio, supervise the delivery of financial statements and ensure compliance with current regulations, all while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Role Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a portfolio comprising high net worth individuals, business owners, directors and trustees, maintaining strong and proactive relationships.
- Lead the preparation and detailed review of statutory accounts and related financial documentation.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to accounting standards and compliance requirements.
- Offer day-to-day guidance and mentoring to junior colleagues.
- Work alongside other internal departments to offer clients integrated business solutions.
Personal Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience within a practice environment.
- Strong technical understanding of financial reporting and accounting frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage directly with clients.
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
