Home ownership Manager - Aster

The Home Ownership Manager will ensure that the Home Ownership Team deliver good services to all it's customers. As well as delivering a good, comprehensive and proactive service, ensuring that Aster Group fully complies with legislation.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide day to day line management of the Home Ownership Team ensuring that services are delivered effectively and efficiently and that a consistently high-quality service is delivered. Ensure that objectives and targets are developed, set, implemented and regularly reviewed.
* Utilise performance monitoring and management arrangements to effectively manage the Home Ownership service.
* Lead and motivate the Home Ownership Team to provide a high-quality professional service to the Group's customers and ensure that all enquiries from customers are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
* Promote a culture of openness, customer focus, participation, good performance and accountability in the team. Ensuring staff share a common sense of purpose and are encouraged to use their initiative to the benefit of customers.
* Monitor staff performance and undertake annual personal development reviews, performance appraisals, regular 'one-to-ones' and regular team meetings. Empowering the team to provide high quality services and develop their full potential.
* Support and assist the Home Ownership portfolio lead and the Strategic Lead for Home Ownership & Service Charges in the regular review of all policies and procedures. Recommend amendments and improvements to ensure that service delivery meets current legislative and regulation requirements. Ensure that all members of the team fully comply with all agreed policies and procedures.
* Be responsible for the review and development of the service delivered by the team to ensure they provide value for money and are continually improving.
* Ensure that all activities undertaken comply with relevant legislation, guidance and regulatory requirements and best practice, including the provision of staff training as required.
* Be responsible for delegated budgets ensuring that budgets are focussed on areas of highest priority and achieve value for money.
