Our Finance team is looking for a skilled Finance Manager to lead our UK finance operations. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for all reporting and compliance activities for AB Vista UK, ensuring month-end excellence, audit readiness, and control improvements while supporting wider transformation initiatives. With autonomy and a collaborative working environment, this is your chance to ensure the stability and accuracy of UK finance within a global organisation.
What you'll be doing:
+ Managing month-end close processes including journal postings, FX revaluations, and intercompany eliminations across multiple UK entities
+ Ensuring timely and accurate P&L and balance sheet reporting, including payroll accruals, recharges, and fixed asset adjustments
+ Managing UK budgeting and forecasting submissions and supporting planning cycles
+ Overseeing compliance with internal and external audit requirements, ensuring timely resolution of actions
+ Improvements to finance processes, system controls, and data integrity-particularly around Microsoft Dynamics 365 and compliance tools
+ Administering regulatory submissions, including tax, insurance, SOX, and ABC reporting
+ Supporting group finance transformation projects and standardising processes across AB Vista and the wider AB Agri group
+ Leading and mentoring one direct report, while supporting a network of regional finance contributors, Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park. The office has recently been renovated and along with a modern work environment has great public transport links, free onsite parking, free drink facilities, free lunch option each day and a great team culture. Please note, this role may require occasional travel to AB Agri sites in the UK and overseas.
+ Certified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience + Solid technical knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS), consolidations, reconciliations, and audit processes + Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations across multiple entities and currencies + Advanced Excel and financial systems skills, with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power BI + Strong attention to detail and time management, with a continuous improvement mindset + Skilled communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams, regions, and functions + Experience managing or mentoring others, or a clear willingness to develop leadership capabilities + Structured thinking and adaptability to succeed in an environment driven by consistent global changes and diverse tasks
