The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SEND Auditor to join Camden's SEND Service. Reporting to the Service Manager for Quality Assurance, you will be at the forefront of promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning across the service.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving quality, championing high standards in SEND practice, and contributing directly to positive outcomes for Camden's children and families.

Key Responsibilities

As a SEND Auditor, you will:

  • Promote a strong culture of learning and development by modelling excellent practice and professional values.
  • Conduct consistent and effective audits and sampling of social work and SEND practice, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Link audit findings directly to practice development and provide constructive feedback to teams and practitioners.
  • Participate in wider practice development initiatives, including support for qualified social workers with specific regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to strategic service development by providing insight and evidence-based recommendations based on audit activity.
  • Use performance data to understand and improve the lived experience of children and families receiving SEND services.
  • Support the service in achieving and sustaining outstanding levels of practice and leadership across Camden's SEND provision.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and reflective practitioner who is:

  • Experienced in auditing and quality assurance within children's services or SEND.
  • A confident communicator, able to provide constructive feedback and champion learning and improvement.
  • Committed to high standards, strong values, and child-centred practice.
  • Able to analyse performance data to inform continuous service development.
  • Passionate about driving quality and consistency across social work and SEND practice.
