Finance Assistant

Full-time or Part-time (min. 30 hours/week)

We're recruiting on behalf of a Somerset-based service provider seeking a Finance Assistant to provide maternity cover for 6 months. The role supports financial operations across invoicing, reporting, project billing and data handling across internal systems.

Joining a small team, your responsibilities will be:

• Raise and manage client and supplier invoices

• Reconcile data across finance systems and CRM

• Support timesheet, payroll and project tracking processes

• Assist with reporting, onboarding and financial compliance tasks

To be considered in this Finance Assistant role:

• Experience in a service-based environment (e.g. accountancy, consultancy)

• Intermediate Excel skills (Lookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables)

• Knowledge of Sage, Xero and CRM systems

• Awareness of AI tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT) is highly advantageous

• Candidates must be based and have the right to workin the UK
