We're looking for an experienced Electrical Operations Supervisor to manage and deliver safe, high-quality electrical works across a residential property portfolio in Eastleigh and surrounding areas.

In this role, you'll supervise a team of electricians and oversee installations, repairs, testing, and full rewires. You'll be responsible for compliance, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction, acting as a Qualified Supervisor (QS) and ensuring all work meets industry and safety standards.

???? Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage electrical installations, repairs, planned works, and rewires.

  • Oversee testing, certification, and regulatory compliance (BS7671).

  • Act as a Qualified Supervisor (QS), signing off work and maintaining high standards.

  • Monitor team performance and ensure staff are trained, qualified, and supported.

  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.

  • Provide out-of-hours technical support and deputise when required.

✅ Suitable Backgrounds May Include:

If you have experience in any of the following roles or sectors, your skills may be a great match for this position:

  • Electrical Supervisor or Foreman (domestic, commercial, or social housing)

  • Qualified Electrician with team leadership or mentoring experience

  • Testing & Inspection Engineer with QS responsibilities

  • Electrical Contracts Manager or Project Supervisor in maintenance or housing

  • Building Services Supervisor with an electrical bias

  • Engineers or tradespeople from housing associations, local authorities, or facilities management with hands-on electrical and supervisory experience

???? What You'll Need:

  • Experience leading or supervising electrical works

  • Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (C&G 2360/2330/2351)

  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing)

  • AM2 certification

  • Up-to-date knowledge of BS7671 (18th Edition)

  • Current or previous Qualified Supervisor (NICEIC/NAPIT)

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Organised, customer-focused, and able to lead a team
