We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to oversee the daily planning and coordination of our technical maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and professionally, supporting both our customers and colleagues.

You will manage the Planned Maintenance Programme, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard, while also delivering a responsive and effective reactive maintenance service. This includes making sure all service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.

As part of your responsibilities, you will supervise and deliver small replacement projects, ensuring that asset registers are accurately updated when equipment is replaced under the Life Cycle or Small Works Programme. You will also play a key role in team development by providing training, delivering toolbox talks, and leading team briefings.

Quality assurance is a vital part of the role, and you will be expected to check completed paperwork and service standards to ensure compliance. You will also be required to complete reports and documentation as directed by the client or line manager.

Taking ownership of your own professional development is important, and you will be encouraged to identify and communicate your training needs. Above all, you will ensure that all work is carried out in full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and the latest industry regulations and best practices.

Main Duties
* Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
* Ensure compliance with the MITIE Maintenance Quality Management System as it applies to this position
* Assist the Engineering Manager in ensuring that all Statutory and Legislative requirements are achieved/adhered to for the sites
* Ensure clients operational procedures are adhered to at all times
* Obtain appropriate authorisation for access into restricted areas from the client's representative as and when required
* Ensure compliance with MITIE and Client confidentiality policies
* To provide technical support to the site Facilities Manager as and when required
* Assist engineers to compile estimates for minor additional works and submit through small works/remedial teams
* Be available to provide remote support outside normal hours
* Candidate will be required to take on appropriate AP role
* Candidate to provide hands-on onsite support when required, covering a range of multi-skilled tasks either reactive, PPM or compliance

What we are looking for
* Either BS7671 Electrical Regulations, Gas ACOPs or F-Gas qualified
* Ideally served a recognised trade training scheme
* Essential people management skills/experience managing a small team
* IOSH Working safely
* Customer care/relationship building skills
* Able to work as a member of a team
* Able to work without direct supervision
* Able to deal directly with customers in a professional manner and represent the company
* Must be able to complete a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check
