£150 per week on-call allowance (estimated 1 in 3 weeks)

Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a temporary contract based at Robeson House in Southwark. This is a full-time role working on planned and reactive maintenance. The position is expected to run from 21 July to 8 October 2025, with the possibility of extension or temp-to-perm opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance, both planned and reactive

• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems and equipment

• Respond to call-outs as part of a rota (1 in 3 weeks on average)

• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times

• Work independently and as part of a wider facilities team

Requirements

• Relevant mechanical qualifications or trade certification

• Previous experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload

• A Basic DBS check is required prior to starting (this will be arranged)
