We are currently recruiting for an Estate Services Scheme Operative to support Southern Housing's Estate Services team in delivering high-quality cleaning and facilities support at a residential estate in Woolwich.
This is a temporary full-time role offering an excellent opportunity to join a respected housing provider and make a real difference in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming communal areas for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out cleaning of communal areas, including stairwells, corridors, entranceways, and bin areas
Ensure all assigned sites are maintained to the expected standard and safe for residents
Use appropriate tools and cleaning materials safely and effectively
Follow health & safety procedures, including the use of PPE
Report any defects, hazards, or incidents in line with company procedures
Deliver a customer-focused approach to estate cleanliness and support
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' work history or references in a similar role
Right to work in the UK
Willingness to complete a Confidentiality Agreement and Criminal Convictions Declaration
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive work ethic
Previous experience in estate services, cleaning, or facilities maintenance is desirable
