My client is a leading consultancy firm specialising in cutting-edge building services solutions across the UK and the Middle East. Their diverse portfolio includes projects in commercial, residential, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. They're committed to delivering innovative and sustainable designs that meet the complex needs of their clients.

Role Overview:
They're seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid working model, with 3 days office and 2 days working from home. As a key member of their engineering team, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems that integrate seamlessly into their clients buildings, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for a variety of building types.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements, offering technical expertise and innovative solutions.
- Prepare detailed design specifications, calculations, and reports in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to monitor progress and ensure designs are implemented correctly.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into your designs where appropriate.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical design engineering within the building services industry.
- Some experience in client-facing with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and international building codes and standards.
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.
- Professional membership with CIBSE or equivalent is a plus.
