An established and forward-thinking engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Director to lead and grow their Building Services division in London. This is a senior strategic role offering the opportunity to shape project delivery, expand client relationships, and influence the technical direction of prestigious developments in the luxury residential and hospitality sectors.

The Role:
As Mechanical Director, you will oversee a team of talented engineers and play a key role in business development, project leadership, and operational management. You'll drive technical excellence and innovation across a diverse portfolio of high-end projects in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead mechanical engineering design on flagship projects.
* Manage project resourcing, delivery strategy, and quality assurance.
* Develop and strengthen client relationships.
* Mentor and develop engineering talent within the business.
* Contribute to strategic planning and business growth.
* Champion low-carbon and sustainable design practices.

About You:
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a recognised institution (e.g., CIBSE, IMechE)
* Proven leadership experience in building services consultancy.
* Strong background in high-end residential and/or hotel developments.
* Commercially astute with experience in fee proposals, project delivery, and team management.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficient in industry-standard software and BIM workflows.
