A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leadership role in delivering high-calibre building services design for prestigious residential and hotel developments across the UK and internationally.

The Role:
You'll lead mechanical design across multiple high-end projects, working closely with architects, developers, and internal teams to create sustainable, technically excellent engineering solutions. Youll also mentor a talented group of engineers and contribute to strategic growth within the London office.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee mechanical design from concept through to completion.
* Lead and coordinate project delivery within deadlines and budgets
* Liaise with clients, design teams, and external stakeholders.
* Ensure technical excellence and compliance with current standards.
* Support and guide junior engineers and technicians.
* Drive innovation in low-carbon and sustainable design solutions

About You:
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or equivalent)
* Chartered or working toward CEng status (CIBSE, IMechE, etc.)
* Proven experience delivering complex mechanical designs in the built environment.
* Strong background in luxury residential and/or hospitality projects
* Able to lead design teams and manage client relationships.
* Skilled in industry software such as Hevacomp, IES, and Revit
