The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic Site Manager to join our UK team, responsible for delivering complex baggage handling and civil/MEP work packages within large-scale airport projects. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile installations that directly impact global aviation infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Project Leadership

  • Lead comprehensive project installation plans in collaboration with Project Managers
  • Monitor installation quality, timelines, and costs to ensure compliance with standards and budgets
  • Manage all project stakeholders to facilitate smooth coordination and communication
  • Provide regular progress reports to customers and internal teams

Technical Management

  • Oversee installation and handover of steelwork and mechanical systems
  • Manage electrical and electromechanical installations, including inspections and testing
  • Conduct field wiring tests, safety inspections, and power-up procedures
  • Ensure mechanical static inspections and I/O testing meet specifications

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor teams of supervisors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage multi-functional teams of 10-20+ people across various disciplines
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within project teams

Safety & Quality

  • Promote a strong "Stay Safe" culture across all project activities
  • Ensure adherence to CDM Regulations and HASWA requirements
  • Oversee Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) planning and implementation
  • Drive right-first-time delivery with zero defects focus

Stakeholder Management

  • Interface directly with clients and airport authorities
  • Chair site-level meetings and manage contractor relationships
  • Advise on contracts with Electrical & Mechanical subcontractors
  • Coordinate with commissioning and testing teams for seamless handovers

Essential Experience

  • Proven track record managing medium to large-scale Automated Material Handling or Baggage Handling System projects
  • Successful management of complete project lifecycles from pre-construction through handover
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams and interfacing with high-profile clients
  • Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and HASWA requirements
