A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a senior AAT-qualified accountant to join their expanding team in either their King's Lynn or Wisbech offices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in accountancy looking to progress in a supportive, client-focused environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to a varied client base including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare year-end accounts for a broad portfolio of clients.
  • Support VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts preparation.
  • Assist with tax compliance and liaise with HMRC where required.
  • Use cloud-based platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide day-to-day advice.
  • Support junior team members and contribute to internal training and development.

Personal Requirements

  • AAT Level 4 qualified (essential).
  • Ideally 2-5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software.
  • Organised, detail-focused and able to manage your own workload.
  • Confident in communicating with clients and building trust.
  • Eager to grow professionally with opportunities for future progression.
