JOB TITLE: GARDENER

LOCATION: ST AUSTELL, PL25

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable gardener to join our team in St Austell. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid horticultural background who takes pride in delivering high-quality gardening and plantation work.

Role Overview:
As a gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing private gardens and commercial landscapes. Your duties will include planting, pruning, weeding, lawn care, and general garden maintenance, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery according to design plans
• Routine garden maintenance including pruning, weeding, feeding, and mulching
• Lawn care including mowing, edging, and treatment for pests and diseases
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
• Advising clients on plant care and garden upkeep when needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a gardener, with a strong focus on planting and general garden maintenance, lawn moving and rotation.
• Formal horticulture training or qualification preferred
• Good knowledge of plants, soil types, and seasonal gardening tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit to work outdoors
• Own vehicle and tools
• Payee or self employed weekly payments available
