We're working with a multidisciplinary building services consultancy, established in 2011, that has built a strong reputation over the past 13 years for delivering intelligent, sustainable design with a personal touch. Known for their collaborative culture and experienced team, they're now looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing London office.

The Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of mechanical systems across a variety of sectors - including commercial, residential, and education. You'll collaborate closely with clients, architects, and internal teams, leading projects from concept through to completion. This is also a great opportunity to mentor junior engineers while making a tangible impact on the built environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
Leading mechanical design work across HVAC, public health, and sustainable building systems

Collaborating with senior stakeholders, architects, and other disciplines to develop efficient, coordinated solutions

Supporting the development of junior engineers through training and mentorship

Ensuring technical excellence and quality assurance across all stages of project delivery

Contributing to project planning, budgeting, and client presentations

Supporting the firm's commitment to sustainability and innovative engineering

What You Bring:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering

A minimum of 5 years in an MEP consultancy environment (Intermediate-level candidates with 2+ years will also be considered)

A deep understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems design

Proficiency in software such as Hevacomp, IES, and Revit

A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills

Working toward or holding professional registration (IEng or CEng)
