We've partnered with a dynamic and forward-thinking Building Services consultancy in London that's on the lookout for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. The Role:
You'll play a central role in shaping electrical design solutions across commercial, residential, and public sector projects. Reporting to an Associate or Director, you'll take ownership of technical delivery, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and see your designs come to life - from concept through to completion.
What You'll Be Doing:
Taking the lead on electrical design for a wide range of building services projects
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Collaborating closely with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
Ensuring accurate and timely production of technical documentation
Coordinating with BIM/Revit teams to uphold quality and consistency
Keeping an eye on budgets and commercial goals
Representing the company in client and design meetings
Helping drive business growth through strong client relationships
What You Bring:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
5+ years of experience within an MEP consultancy environment
Progressing towards (or already holding) IEng or CEng status
Solid understanding of lighting, power, and life safety systems
Great communication and report-writing skills
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux (or similar tools)
