As a leading Independent Connections Provider and part of the Mitie Group, we specialise in designing and delivering high-voltage electrical solutions for commercial, industrial, and EV charging projects. Our expertise spans from 11kV to 132kV, supporting both private clients and major Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).

We're now looking for a Senior Business Development Manager - Strategic Sales to lead our growth in the 33kV+ private connections and DNO markets. This is a pivotal role for a commercially astute leader who can identify new opportunities, secure major contracts, and inspire a high-performing business development team.

What You'll Be Doing
* Own and deliver sales revenue and margin targets for DNO and Major Projects (33kV+)
* Identify and pursue new market opportunities and strategic clients
* Lead bids for DNO framework contracts and manage complex commercial negotiations
* Provide monthly performance reports and quarterly board updates on revenue and margin forecasts
* Guide and support the BD team to meet individual and collective targets
* Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, and suppliers
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive, risk-mitigated proposals
* Ensure seamless project handovers and maintain exceptional client satisfaction

* A confident communicator, capable of influencing at senior levels and presenting compelling business cases
* Skilled in commercial and contractual negotiations, with a strong understanding of risk management

* Passionate about innovation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior sales role, with a strong network in the industry
