Are you an experienced planner ready to take on a challenging role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We're looking for a detail-driven Senior Planner to lead production scheduling and material planning for complex, made-to-order valve assemblies. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating operations across multiple departments and driving improvements in a precision-engineered setting.

What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and manage production schedules and work orders for new builds and repairs.
- Align material needs with engineering BOMs and customer specifications.
- Monitor capacity constraints and proactively adjust schedules across multiple departments.
- Maintain and update planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
- Track work order progress and implement solutions to remove bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores to avoid material shortages.
- Support customer service with accurate lead time estimates.
- Improve planning processes and implement metrics like lead time performance and capacity utilization.
- Support WIP tracking, kitting, and planning-based continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years in planning roles within low-volume, complex manufacturing environments (engineered-to-order or made-to-order preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC machining, mechanical assembly, testing, and repair operations.
- ERP Proficiency: Experience with systems like SAP, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient with Excel and comfortable handling data to drive planning decisions.
- Communication: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
- APICS CPIM or similar planning certification.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and document control processes.
Working Conditions
- Based in both office and production environments.
- Regular interaction with departments across engineering, machining, quality, and dispatch.
- Some flexibility required to support urgent or short-turnaround customer orders.
