About the Role:
Proactive Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Factory Cleaner to join a well-established manufacturing site in Flitwick. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out thorough cleaning of factory production areas, including machinery exteriors, floors, walls, and work surfaces
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly, following COSHH guidelines
• Empty bins, remove waste, and ensure disposal procedures are followed
• Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies as needed
• Work to cleaning schedules and complete records/checklists accurately
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE

Working Hours:

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 10-hour shifts, offering a consistent weekday schedule

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience in an industrial, factory, or warehouse environment preferred
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks and prolonged standing
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive in maintaining cleanliness standards
• Must be comfortable working around production machinery (no direct machine operation involved)
