Social Worker - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team

Location: Nottingham City Council
Rate: £35 per hour
Start: ASAP | Contract: Ongoing

Nottingham City Council is looking for an experienced and committed CWD Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities team.

Your Role Will Include:

• Completing comprehensive assessments of disabled children and their families

• Managing Child Protection and court processes, including COP DOLS

• Undertaking direct work with children with disabilities

• Chairing CIN meetings and working closely with professionals and families

• Participating in team duty tasks

• Writing clear, high-quality reports for CIN, CP, and court proceedings

What They're Looking For:

• Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration

• Experience working in a CWD team or similar children's services

• Strong understanding of CP processes and relevant legislation

• Ability to work collaboratively and produce quality written work
