Trade Finance Operations Officer
Ref: 4d52c4665b974d8a8f68c071c55a163bWe're working with a leading financial institution that is seeking a Trade Finance Operations Analyst to join its high-performing Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting international trade transactions and ensuring seamless execution of trade finance products.
You'll play a key role in supporting a range of trade finance activities including Letters of Credit (LCs), Guarantees, Bills for Collection, and Supply Chain Finance transactions, helping facilitate global commerce for a diverse client base., * Process and manage day-to-day trade finance transactions in line with internal policies and ICC rules (UCP, URDG, URC)
* Handle the issuance, advising, amendment, and settlement of Letters of Credit and Guarantees
* Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing, documentation checks, and discrepancy resolutions
* Liaise with internal stakeholders (Front Office, Legal, Compliance) and external parties (counterparties, clients, correspondent banks)
* Monitor and reconcile trade finance positions, payments, and maturities
* Support audit, compliance, and control-related tasks and reporting
* Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

* Previous experience in Trade Finance Operations within a banking or financial services environment * Strong working knowledge of ICC rules (UCP 600, URDG 758, URC 522) and trade finance instruments * High attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive problem-solving approach * Familiarity with trade finance systems (e.g., Surecomp, TI+, Eximbills) is desirable * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
