We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Blue Badge Assessment Team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of disabled residents by supporting their access to essential mobility services.

Role Overview:
As a Blue Badge Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting functional mobility assessments to determine applicants' eligibility for a Blue Badge. You will contribute to a high-performing, fast-paced team that handles over 400 referrals each month.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out detailed mobility assessments both in-person and remotely.

Provide professional recommendations in line with government guidance.

Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments.

Liaise with applicants, carers, and other professionals to gather relevant information.

Requirements:
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.

Strong understanding of the Blue Badge scheme and relevant legislation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.

Flexibility to work both from home and on-site in a hybrid model.
