Bradford Council is currently seeking a committed and experienced Fostering Social Worker to join their dedicated team supporting foster carers and vulnerable children across the region.

About the Role:
As a Fostering Social Worker, you will play a key role in recruiting, assessing, supporting, and supervising foster carers, ensuring that looked-after children are provided with safe, nurturing, and stable placements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete Form F assessments for prospective foster carers

• Offer supervision and ongoing support to approved carers

• Ensure all statutory checks, visits, and reviews are carried out

• Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver best outcomes

• Promote permanence and stability for children in care

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Social Worker with experience in fostering or looked-after children

• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and care standards

• Excellent communication, assessment, and report-writing skills

• Ability to build lasting relationships with carers and professionals
