About the Role

A leading global financial institution is seeking a highly skilled Trade and Transaction Reporting (TTR) Business Analyst to join its Regulatory Reporting team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the firm stays ahead of ever-evolving regulatory expectations across EMEA with a strong focus on SFTR, EMIR, and other trade and transaction reporting regimes.

As a key member of a collaborative and high-performing team, you will analyse regulatory updates, manage reporting controls using DUCO, and contribute to strategic change initiatives that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret regulatory communications across the EMEA region to ensure continued compliance with trade and transaction reporting rules, including SFTR.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to scope fixes and translate regulatory requirements into robust, technically sound business solutions.
  • Build and analyse reconciliations using DUCO, identifying control gaps and developing customised reconciliation processes where needed.
  • Review quality assurance reports (e.g., Kaizen), quantify regulatory breaches or gaps, and support remediation efforts.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including business cases, traceability matrices, and impact assessments to support change delivery.
  • Act as a bridge between Compliance, Operations, Technology, and external vendors, ensuring alignment and transparency in change initiatives.
  • Support ongoing BAU activities, including exception handling, client queries, and regulatory submission reviews.
  • Deliver clear and insightful MI to governance forums and senior stakeholders, ensuring visibility of issues, risks, and mitigation plans.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong expertise in EMEA trade and transaction reporting frameworks, particularly SFTR and EMIR.
  • Proven experience building and managing reconciliations using DUCO (or similar reconciliation platforms).
  • Confidence in presenting complex issues to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to independently assess regulatory quality assurance reports and propose practical solutions.
  • Analytical mindset, with a structured and proactive approach to risk reduction and process optimisation.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, regulatory-driven environments.

Why Join Us?

You'll be part of a dynamic team in a global institution where regulatory change is at the forefront of the business agenda. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your expertise, influence strategic improvements, and grow your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
