Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be partnering with a well-regarded accountancy firm in Kidderminster, currently seeking a full-time, experienced, and motivated Semi-Senior Accountant to join their dynamic and successful team.

This firm boasts a diverse portfolio of business clients and offers deep expertise across a range of commercial and financial areas. With a collaborative culture and modern offices, they provide an excellent environment for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of general accounts and bookkeeping
• Completion of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Assistance with year-end accounts preparation
• Handling accounts administration tasks

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice
• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and Sage (preferred)
• Strong academic background
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong numerical and analytical ability
