We are looking to appoint a multi skilled technician with a fabric bias to work across 17 schools sites within the Cornwall area

The role involves the following tasks
* periodic maintenance inspections and activities, such as but not limited to;
* Portable Appliance Testing,
* Fire Door inspections and permitted remedial works,
* window cleaning
* other general maintenance repairs and inspections
* administrative support with reports and job details
* supporting other teams as instructed by your line manager

Ideally you will have worked in the building services sector, or similar, with basic fabric, electrical and/or plumbing skills. You should be physically fit as the role does involve some manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces as permitted.

You will keep the management team and clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc and ensure a high level of customer service. There is an expectation for good verbal and written communication and comfortable working with IT systems to record tasks and updates, there will be an expectation for the successful candidate to be able to self manage as well as working as part of a team.

The hours of work are from 12pm to 8pm Monday to Friday with an opportunity for overtime as may be required from time to time.

The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities management, a trade scheme or have time served experience. In return you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team with the opportunity to grow as an individual and undertake formalised training as required.
