Are you a Chemistry graduate with experience in a laboratory?

In one of the UK's leading manufacturing companies, this is a great opportunity to start your career as a Laboratory Technician.

What does the role consist of?

  • Product testing and calculating adjustments to ensure products are within their tolerances
  • Accurately weighing, mixing, blending and labelling products
  • Handling a range of reactive chemicals such as acids, alkalis and oxidisers
  • Being responsible of your own health and safety as well as colleagues whilst in the laboratory
  • Work closely with production and QC to rectify any quality issues
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is fit for accuracy and performance

What are they looking for?

  • A Chemistry degree or related qualification (HND/HNC)
  • Good maths skills
  • Previously worked in a laboratory setting
  • Previously worked with chemicals or in a chemical processing environment
